Mister Georgos ("Kyrios" in Greek) was a very quiet man with a lot of humor. He had this penetrating look, a bit sad and at the same time filled with pride and generosity. The look of a man who, after the turmoil of his life, learns to manage his loneliness. I asked him one day to do his portrait. He was surprised and replied "why me? you have nothing better to do than the portrait of an old man who will not interest anyone? there are so many young people around you". Yes, I answered him, but these young people have not faced life yet.
